SEOUL, July 15 (Yonhap) -- Lee Chan-hyuk of AKMU released his second solo studio album “EROS” nearly two years and nine months after his first solo effort, “ERROR,” according to his agency YG Entertainment.

While “ERROR” stemmed from questions about the end of life, “EROS” expands the scope to explore “the death of others” and the emotional void that follows, YG said on Monday. The album reflects Lee’s introspective process and his attempts to express that journey through music.

The album includes nine tracks, led by the title song “VIVIDRARALOVE,” which raises the question of whether true and ideal love really exists. The rhythmic drum beats and funky bass blend with Lee’s calm lyrical delivery, enriching the listening experience.

Other notable tracks include “SINNY SINNY,” which juxtaposes dystopian ambiance with hopeful melodies; “I’m Going Crazy,” a retro-inspired track featuring 1980s–90s synthesizers; “TV Show,” which evokes the feeling of being inside a television broadcast; and “Eve,” a cheerful song in the New Jack Swing genre.

Lee took charge of writing and composing all the songs, showcasing his signature storytelling and emotional range.

AKMU is scheduled to hold a standing concert series titled “Akdongs” at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, from August 8 to 24, with a total of nine performances.
