SEOUL, March 9 (Yonhap) -- K-pop diva Younha will release her first remake album later Monday, her agency said.
C9 Entertainment said Younha will unveil the album "Sub Character One" at 6 p.m.
The four-track album, her first remake release in the 22 years since her debut, is led by the title track "Salvation."
"Salvation" combines Younha's powerful high notes with a dazzling band sound. The song carries a message questioning the responsibility for loss after letting a savior go.
The album also includes "Seasonal Crime," which delivers resonant emotions through a weighty emotional arc; "Sub Character," highlighted by strongly soaring vocals; and "Skybound," whose hopeful cry helps listeners forget the burdens of reality.
The agency said Younha presented high-quality remakes that respect the original songs while offering fresh interpretations. Each track is accompanied by a music video expanding its narrative, while refined arrangements highlight the appeal of her vocals.
