SEOUL, May 24 (Yonhap) – K-pop girl group Brave Girls’ hit song “Rollin’” has surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Melon, Korea’s largest music platform, according to the agency Brave Entertainment.
“Rollin,’” which was dropped in 2017, is a song of tropical house genre with cheerful uptempo and it highlights the energetic high notes of the members. The song was only known to the minority for years since its release but succeeded in climbing up the chart last year as it went viral, leading the group to top the music scene.
“Rollin’” truly became the mega hit song by ranking No. 2 on the Melon’s annual chart last year.
As the song set a record of 100 million cumulative streams on Melon in May, 2021, it broke its own record by exceeding 200 million streams in a year.
