SEOUL, Dec. 16 (Yonhap) -- Rose and TWICE have made their debut in the top five of the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart.
According to the chart preview released on December 15 (local time), Rose’s solo debut album R debuted at number 3, while TWICE’s 14th mini-album STRATEGY entered at number 4 on the Billboard 200.
The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on traditional physical album sales, streaming equivalents (SEA), and digital song download equivalents (TEA), which are then combined to calculate total album units. Rose’s R achieved 102,000 album units during the tracking period, with 70,000 in physical album sales, 31,000 from SEA, and 1,000 from TEA.
The pre-release single APT. featuring pop star Bruno Mars became a hit, charting at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at number 2 on the Streaming Songs chart.

TWICE’s STRATEGY recorded 81,000 in physical album sales, 6,500 in SEA, and under 500 in TEA, totaling 88,000 album units.
Billboard noted that TWICE has now charted six consecutive albums in the top ten of the Billboard 200.
The group previously reached the top spot on the chart with their last release, With YOU-th.
