SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group aespa is set to showcase a new charm with an English version of their hit song "Whiplash," its agency said on Thursday.
SM Entertainment announced that the English version of "Whiplash" will be released on various music streaming platforms at 1 p.m. in Korea time.
The original track, released in October 2024 as the title song of the mini-album of the same name, is a dance song featuring a powerful bass sound and house beats. Its addictive melody and lyrics about breaking free from limitations and moving forward confidently resonated with fans, making the mini-album a million-seller in November 2024.
