Sul Kyung-gu, Hong Kyung, Ryu Seung-bum to Star in Netflix' Film 'Good News'

SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- Netflix announced on the 27th that it will produce Good News, the latest film directed by Byun Sung-hyun. Following Kill Boksoon (2023), this will be Byun's second Netflix movie.

 

Good News is based on a real-life airplane hijacking incident that occurred in the 1970s. Netflix described it as "a film depicting the suspicious strategies of a group of people gathered to land a hijacked plane by any means necessary."

 

Actor Sul Kyung-gu will play a mysterious fixer, Hong Kyung takes on the role of an Air Force lieutenant involved in a secret mission, and Ryu Seung-bum will portray the government official overseeing the operation.
