GFriend's Yuju signs contract with Kang Daniel's KONNECT Entertainment

SEOUL, Sep. 01 (Yonhap) -- Former GFriend member Yuju has signed a contract with KONNECT Entertainment (KONNECT) led by solo artist Kang Daniel.

“We will strive to actively support her with optimal and professional management so that she can fully exert her talents,” said KONNECT Wednesday.

“I feel secure to be with KONNECT which positive energy and sincere respect for the artist. I wish to be able to newly approach the listeners with an honesty and diverse music,” said Yuju.

The artist debuted as the main vocal for GFriend in 2015. Based on her outstanding vocal skills, she took part in various OST (Original Sound Track) for dramas.

Her new entertainment, KONNECT includes the C.E.O Kang Daniel, producer and singer-songwriter Chancellor and CL.
