SEOUL, October 20 (Yonhap) --40,000 tickets for the "Best Singer" Cho Yong-pil's solo concert "2022 Cho Yong-pil Concert" sold out in just 30 minutes, his agency Insight Entertainment announced on October 19.
This is the first time in four years since Cho Yong-pil held his solo concert in 2018 to mark his 50th anniversary. This concert is only held in Seoul four times, not all over South Korea.
Cho Yong-pil showed off his continued popularity by selling out all the seats as soon as ticket reservations began.
Insight Entertainment said, "Cho Yong-pil is a genius on live stages both in name and reality, and he has always made new records with numerous masterpieces and various stages at each concert," he said. "As we have prepared for a long time, we will make another legendary performance to give the audience unforgettable memories."
The concert will be held at KSPO Dome in Seoul on November 26 and 27, and December 3 and 4.
