SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group 2NE1 successfully concluded their 15th-anniversary Asia tour “WELCOME BACK” with encore concerts, their agency YG Entertainment said on Monday.
The concert was held at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on April 12–13.
The group sold out all seats for the Seoul finale, filling the 22,000-capacity venue, and demonstrated enduring popularity across the entire tour, which drew a total of 220,000 fans.
The concert opened with their hit “Come Back Home,” followed by crowd favorites such as “Fire,” “Clap Your Hands,” “Can’t Nobody,” and “I Am the Best.” Fans, affectionately known as “Blackjacks,” responded with thunderous cheers and mass singalongs throughout the show.
“We’re happy we were able to keep our promise to end the tour in a larger venue,” the members said in a heartfelt message. “It was a joy to sing together with all of you. We will never forget this beautiful day, and we hope it remains a cherished memory for you, just as it is for us.”
WELCOME BACK marked 2NE1’s first tour in nearly a decade, commemorating their debut 15 years ago. Kicking off in Seoul last October, the tour took the group to 12 cities including Manila, Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, and Macau, for a total of 27 shows.
