SEOUL, Jan. 2 (Yonhap) -- Boy group Big Bang member G-dragon (GD) has updated about himself on New Year, saying, "I will do my best in 2023. I am currently working on new album."
G-dragon mentioned his whereabouts through "G-DRAGON - GUERRILLA DESK : G_Division" video, which he posted on his YouTube channel and social media.
G-dragon began his speech, saying, "It has been a long time since meeting fans like this," adding, "I have decided to make a greeting speech thinking you guys could be curious about my next year plan."
He continued, "I was disappointed to not be able to meet fans or perform on stages" adding, "But It was a year I was able to prepare myself every day and recharge."
Last year, GD returned to the music scene as Big Bang after four years with "Still Life." The music received favorable feedback from the audiences and critics, topping domestic charts and also placing No.73 on "2022 Best Song Top 100" list by famous American monthly magazine Rolling Stone.
Meanwhile, Taeyang and Daesung did not renew the exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment last month, meaning all members except GD have left YG Ent.
YG Ent. is currently negotiating a solo contract with GD.
