SEOUL, Sept.22 (Yonhap) -- The newly released thriller movie "Project Wolf Hunt" stepped down from the top of the S.Korean box office in just a day. "Confidential Assignment 2: International" in its third week of release entered long-term box office success.

According to the data by the Korea Film Council on Friday, the movie was expelled to second place gathering 48,000 audiences on the previous day by "Confidential Assignment 2." (73,000 people).

The movie debuted at No.1 at the box office on the opening day, Wednesday.

"Project Wolf Hunt," starring Seo In-guk, Jang Dong-yoon, and Seong Dong-il, is a thriller that takes place in a ship escorting Interpol's wanted people. Since its release, there have been mixed reviews about the story line, combined of brutal scenes and multiple genres.

"Confidential Assignment 2: International," which was released on Sept. 7, recovered its lead in just one day and continues to attract audiences. As of the previous day, the cumulative number of spectators was 5,071,000.

As of this morning, the reservation rate for "Confidential Assignment 2" is 27.7% and 'Avatar Remastered" 18.2%.

Among the new movies released this week, animation movie "The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie" ranked No.5, Romance "After Ever Happy" No.8, and Korean animation "Princess Aya" 10th.
