Ailee to Marry 'Single's Inferno' Alum Choi Si-hoon in April

SEOUL, Nov. 19 (Yonhap) -- K-pop Singer Ailee is set to tie the knot with entrepreneur and former actor Choi Si-hoon in April next year, her agency revealed on Tuesday. 

A2Z Entertainment said in a statement, "Ailee will marry Choi Si-hoon on April 20, 2025. The couple met through a mutual acquaintance and have been in a romantic relationship for about a year. They promised to marry in May this year, based on their deep affection and trust."

Ailee also shared the news with fans through her official fan cafe, writing, "I’ve met someone who has been a supportive and dependable presence, offering me comfort and a shoulder to lean on. His understanding and thoughtfulness made me want to spend the rest of my life with him."

Debuting in 2012, Ailee has been celebrated for her powerful vocals and hit songs, including "I Will Show You," "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow," and "Evening Sky."

Choi Si-hoon gained recognition in 2021 after appearing on the Netflix reality show "Single’s Inferno." He has since stepped away from the entertainment industry and is currently involved in the F&B (Food and Beverage) business.
