SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) – S. Korean filmmaker Park Hoon-jung’s new film “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” has been confirmed to be released on June 15, according to the distributing agency NEW on Wednesday.
"Witch 2" is a movie that depicts the story of a girl, who survived alone in a devastated secret laboratory and came out of the world, and forces chasing her for different purposes.
It is a sequel to "The Witch," which displayed the original action and worldview in 2018.
Kim Da-mi, the main female lead of the previous film, will also appear in the movie but the main character of the sequel is Shin Sia, who was selected as a new witch through a competition of 1,408 to 1.
Besides, actors Park Eun-bin, Seo Eun-soo, Jin Goo, Sung Yoo-bin, Jo Min-su, and Lee Jong-suk star in the movie.
Following the original work, “Witch 2” is also directed by Park Hoon-jung.
