SEOUL February 27 (Yonhap) -- “We are currently working hard on our upcoming tracks, I hope you guys like it and this time we promise that will do our best to meet you guys with our new tracks as soon as possible. ” addressed Winter of K-pop girl group aespa throughout their first solo concert “SYNK : Hyper Line” held in Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on February 26.
This concert is aespa’s first solo concert since their debut in 2020, and in total, over 10 thousand audiences gathered up to see them perform on stage.
With unique concept of group’s personal metaverse aespa released series of hit tracks such as “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” “Savage” and more. Overall the group managed to not only sell over a million copies of their album, but also became one of the leading figures within the fourth generation K-pop girl group within 2022.
Throughout the concert the group not only performed individual solo stages but also over 10 of the un-released tracks starting with “YOLO,” “Hot Air Balloon,” “Salty & Sweet” and more receiving great round of applause.
For the group’s first solo concert, aespa kicked off their concert with their title track “Girls” from second mini alum.
Winter of aespa got on to the stage of “Girls” with a guitar and performed a mind blowing guitar solo attracting audiences attention, and Karina waved her hands towards the audiences throughout their stage to show her love for their fans.
Throughout the interview Winter of aespa addressed that she practiced her guitar solo to a point where she bled out of her hands.
When aespa members were performing their hit track “Savage” they walked out towards the front part of the stage which is shaped like T and through their track “Illusion” group members showcased unique performance using OLED where they performed their song behind mesmerizing lighting to entertain their audiences.
Throughout the concert, Winter addressed “On the first day of our concert, we were very out of place, however, we have learned and became more comfortable with the setup so our second day of the concert was much better.”
Moreover, Karina stated while staring into the crowd “I hope you guys enjoy your time with us for the next 2 hours.”
Aespa’s concert was streamed live through online streaming platform “Beyond Live” for their global fans, especially various SM members such as TVXQ’s Max Changmin, Girls Generation’s Taeyeon, ShiNee’s Minho and more showed up at the scene of the concert in order to cheer aespa up.
As aespa performed their mega hit track “Next Level,” and “Black Mamba,” the scene of the concert hit the highest where fans waved their goods and sang along to the songs.
With group’s un released track “Till We Meet Again” and one of the tracks from their second mini album “ICU” the group successfully finished their concert which consisted over 2 hours.
“Since we are done with our first concert, we will try our best to showcase various sides of aespa through various concerts, I hope you guys are surprised by the stages we perform.” addressed Winter throughout the concert.
Moreover, Karina of aespa addressed “We will do our best to showcase more matured and developed side of us, I hope you guys are excited for our comeback.”
