SEOUL February 28 (Yonhap) -- Representative of K-pop girl group New Jean’s entertainment agency Min Hee-jin has been selected as one of the most influential female leader within the music industry.
According to the “2023 Billboard Woman in Music” released on February 27, through main webpage of Billboard, HYBE’s T&D (Training and Development) general manager Shin Seon-jung was listed alongside the representative of ADOR, Min Hee-jin.
Billboard’s “Woman in Music” lists up various woman within the music industry which has made a significant impact within the music industry starting from artists, creators, producers, representatives and more.
Min Hee-jin accumulated a lot of respect since her days in the SM Entertainment for successfully coming up with various concepts for the artists such as, ShiNee, Girl’s Generaltion, EXO, and various globally well known K-pop artists.
Later on Min Hee-jin was appointed as the representative of ADOR, and successfully debuted the sensational girl group “New Jeans” becoming one of the main K-pop producers within South Korea.
General Manager Shin Seon-jung who was also included within the list alongside Min Hee-jin has a history being included within “2022 Billboard 40 Under 40” in the past.
T&D is a subsidiary of HYBE where they major in selection process of trainees for upcoming K-pop artist, educate them and more, for instance, HYBE’s global sensation BTS, Tomorrow X Together, LESSERAFIM and more has been part of the T&D program.
Billboard addressed “If HYBE manages to successfully showcase K-pop artist through successful marketing model proven by the success of BTS, the entertainment company will successfully grow into power within the global impact.”
