SEOUL September 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korean comedy block buster film, “Confidential Assignment 2: International” has topped S.Korean box office for three consecutive weeks.

According to the integrated network of movie tickets by the Korean Film Council, on Monday, “Confidential Assignment 2: International” attracted over 484 thousand people and safely guarded its place on top of the chart.

“Confidential Assignment 2: International” stepped down on the premiere day of director Kim Hong-sun’s “Project Wolf Hunting,” however the movie reclaimed its throne. Over 5.5million people have watched “Confidential Assignment 2: International” until September 25.

“Project Wolf Hunting” which went through the first weekend of its premiere attracted over 194 thousand audiences and ranked second on the S.Korean box office.

Re-mastering version of “Avatar” which premiered on the same day as “Project Wolf Hunting” attracted over 88thousand audiences placing third on S.Korean box office.

“The Quintessential Quintuplet” ranked sixth, “Katuri the movie: the big city adventure” ranked seventh, “Princess Aya” ranked ninth on South Korean box office.

“Honest Candidate 2” featuring South Korean actress Ra Mi-ran, and “Life is Beautiful” featuring actor Ryu Seung-ryong and actress Yum Jung-ah attracted over 24thousand audiences, and 10 thousand audiences through their showcase leading them to rank on fifth and eight on S.Korean box office.
