K-pop girl group aespa to perform in Tokyo Dome

SEOUL April 3 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group aespa will be hosting “aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 SYNK : HYPER LINE in Japan – Special Edition” in August 5 through 6 in Tokyo Dome Japan, addressed group’s agency SM Entertainment on Monday.

SM stated “aespa has managed to obtain the title as the fastest foreign artist to have managed to performing at Tokyo Dome within the shortest amount of time since their debut, because the group debuted in November of 2020.”

Tokyo Dome which can accommodate over 50 thousand audiences is considered as one of the dream stages for artist to perform because even within Japan only the best and most popular groups are allowed to perform at the Tokyo Dome.

aespa are currently engaged with their Japan tour which kicked off in March and consists in performances in Osaka, followed by Tokyo, Saitama, and Nagoya in total of four cities in Japan.
