SEOUL March 3 (Yonhap) -- Musicians from different national background will unite as one in hope to share the idea of world piece in unified language, music.
The Korean Chamber Orchestra led by the musical director Kim Min addressed on Friday that they will host a “KCO Peace Concert for Ukraine” on March 22 at the Lotte Concert hall located in Seoul.
The upcoming concert will kick off with a piece by American composer Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings” will feature a Ukraine musician in order to showcase peace and harmony.
Well Known couple musicians Pavel Vernikov, a violinist from Ukraine and Svetlana Zakharova from Russia, will perform Vivaldi’s “D Minor Concerto” with The Korean Chamber Orchestra.

Moreover, a track “Blessed Sadness” by female Ukraine composer Victoria Vita Poleva who is known for working with Gidon Kremer, Kronos Quartet and more will be performed for the first time during the concert.
Composer Victoria Vita Poleva addressed “I wanted to write a piece where my music can work as a healing factor throughout this war, I also wanted people to know that sometimes the pain can be a blessing.”
Continuing on, the upcoming concert will feature “French Fantasy” by Russian composer Urie Bronfenbrenner and Schubert’s “C Minor Sonata” under the conductor Kim Min’s lead.
