BTS' Jin to release solo single on Oct. 28

SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superstar BTS' Jin will release first official solo single "The Astronaut" on Oct. 28, announced his agency Bighit Music on Wednesday through fan community Weverse.

Bighit Music said, "We hope 'The Astronaut' feels like a gift to fans as he put all his love towards you guys in it."

The agency also said, "We also planned various activities that fans will like as he was producing the single, " adding, "Please look forward to his activities that will show his many charms."

Jin will now be the second member of BTS to debut as solo.

This music will be the last before he, who decided to revoke an application for the delay of his enlistment at the end of this month, joins the army.

Jin has previously said in a solo concert held in Busan Asiad Main Stadium on Oct. 15, "I was luckily able to collaborate with the person I like," adding, "I have a lot left to show you guys."
