SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's popular mystery variety show 'Crime Scene' is set to return with a new season on Netflix. On the 26th, Netflix announced that it will produce the fifth season of 'Crime Scene' as a Netflix original variety show.
'Crime Scene' is a game where players, taking on the roles of suspects and detectives, must uncover the hidden culprit among them. The cast members act out their assigned suspect roles within a meticulously crafted setting, using deduction to identify the criminal.
The show previously aired its first three seasons on JTBC, with a fourth season titled 'Crime Scene Returns' released on TVING in February. Yoon Hyun-joon, the director of the previous seasons, commented, "We made this decision to introduce the show to fans not only in Korea but around the world," and asked for viewers' anticipation and support for the upcoming journey.
