SEOUL, Apr. 7 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group SEVENTEEN was dubbed the first K-pop act to perform at Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025, a major music festival held on April 4 (local time) at Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico, their agency Pledis Entertainment said.

Taking the stage as headliners, SEVENTEEN performed a dynamic one-hour set featuring hit tracks including LOVE, MONEY, FAME, Left & Right, HOT, and God of Music.

They also showcased a variety of unit performances, such as Same Age by members Hoshi and Woozi, Water by the hip-hop team, Rain by the performance team, and Youth Anthem by the vocal team.

Local fans responded enthusiastically, singing along in Korean during songs like HOT and God of Music, creating a powerful sense of unity between artist and audience.

“We’ll never forget today — it was made possible by CARATs around the world,” the group said, expressing gratitude to their fans.

During a press conference prior to the concert, SEVENTEEN shared, “We’re honored to be the first K-pop artists to perform at Pa’l Norte. It’s incredible how music allows people to connect and enjoy together regardless of language or nationality.”

S.Coups, the group’s overall leader, added, “We’re known for our powerful performances, and we’ll prove that on the Pa’l Norte stage. We definitely want to return to Mexico for a full world tour.”

Pa’l Norte is one of the largest music festivals in Latin America. This year’s lineup featured global stars including Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, Benson Boone, and Charli XCX, with SEVENTEEN joining them as a headliner.

SEVENTEEN is also set to hold fan meetings in Japan titled HOLIDAY — on April 24 and 26–27 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, and on May 10–11 at Saitama Super Arena.
