SEOUL, June 11 (Yonhap) -- While serving in the military, BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) was seen patrolling an event in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.

On June 10, the K-pop industry reported that Lee Ji-young of the vocal group Big Mama posted a video on her YouTube channel featuring V at the 'Remember the Chuncheon Battle Festa.'

V, wearing the Special Duty Team (SDT) uniform, greeted Lee Ji-young politely, introducing himself as "BTS's V" and explaining that he was on patrol.

After their brief interaction, which included a handshake and a salute from V, Lee Ji-young commented on her channel, expressing her admiration: "I was coming off stage from the 'Remember the Chuncheon Battle Festa' when a handsome soldier greeted me. It turned out to be BTS's V. He always looks great on stage, but he’s just as gentlemanly off stage. He looks even more impressive in uniform."

V enlisted in December of last year and is currently serving with the 2nd Infantry Division's Ssyong Military Police Special Duty Team (SDT).
