SEOUL, Aug. 13 (Yonhap) -- Jeonghan from Seventeen is set to fulfill his mandatory military service within the year, leading to a temporary hiatus from group activities.

On the 12th, Pledis Entertainment announced through the fan community Weverse, "Jeonghan has completed filming most of the content that could be prepared in advance, but he will not be able to participate in the promotions for the upcoming mini 12th album and the world tour scheduled from October."

However, Jeonghan will still take part in pre-scheduled fan sign events and performances such as 'Lollapalooza Berlin' in September. The exact date of his enlistment has not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, Seventeen's Chinese member Jun will be focusing on acting in China during the latter half of this year, and therefore will not be involved in the new album promotions or the world tour.

Pledis Entertainment stated, "Jun is very eager to participate in group activities, but he will not be able to join the world tour. However, he plans to attend as many events as possible where he can meet CARATs (Seventeen's fandom)."
