'고려 거란 전쟁'은 거란(요나라)이 10∼11세기 세 차례에 걸쳐 고려를 침공한 여요전쟁을 배경으로 고려 황실과 총사령관 강감찬이 나라를 지키려 고군분투하는 과정을 다룬다.
