Veteran actor Ahn Sung-ki in critical condition after hospitalization in state of cardiac arrest

SEOUL, Dec. 31 (Yonhap) -- Veteran actor Ahn Sung-ki was rushed to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest and is currently in critical condition, sources said Wednesday.

Ahn was moved to the emergency room as of around 4 p.m. Tuesday after collapsing while choking on food at his home.

The actor was admitted to an intensive care unit, according to the sources.
