G-Dragon, YG Entertainment under probe for alleged copyright infringement
SEOUL, Aug. 12 (Yonhap) -- Police said Tuesday they have launched an investigation into K-pop star G-Dragon and Yang Hyun-suk, the founder and chief producer of major agency YG Entertainment, over alleged violation of copyright law.
Seoul's Mapo Police Station began the probe after receiving a complaint in November from a composer who claimed that their song had been illegally copied by the singer and Yang.
Investigators carried out two raids on the headquarters of YG Entertainment and have questioned those involved in the case.
Police declined to provide further details.
