BTS releases remix album featuring individual versions of 'Swim'
SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop supergroup BTS on Friday released an album featuring remix versions of "Swim," the lead track of its new album "Arirang."
The nine-track album, titled "Keep Swimming," includes the original and instrumental versions of "Swim," as well as seven remixes reflecting each member's musical taste, BigHit Music, the group's agency, said in a release.
Leader RM reimagined the song in a chill hip-hop style, while Jin delivered a high-energy alternative rock version. Suga explored melodic techno with layered club sounds, and J-Hope infused the track with Afrobeats rhythms.
Jimin's interpretation takes a smooth slow-jam R&B approach, V opts for an electronic remix, and Jungkook offers a warm acoustic lo-fi rendition built around gentle guitar textures and soft vocals.
A Netflix documentary film titled "BTS: The Return," which traces the band's production process for the new release, is also set to premiere at 4 p.m. on Friday.
