DeepMind chief meets legendary Go player
Demis Hassabis (L), the co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind and known as the architect behind the go-playing artificial intelligence system AlphaGo, shakes hands with legendary Go player Lee Se-do, a special professor at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, after they autographed a Go board during the Google for Korea 2026 event in Seoul on April 29, 2026.
