
S. Korea's exports down for 11th month in Aug.
Kim Wan-ki, head of the trade ministry's trade and investment bureau, attends a press conference at the government complex in Sejong, central South Korea, on Sept. 1, 2023, to announce South Korea's exports fell for the 11th consecutive month in August due mainly to weak demand for semiconductors and petroleum products, with outbound shipments down 8.4 percent on-year to US$51.87 billion.
