
S. Korea to join Pacific Partnership drill
This photo, provided by the Navy, shows South Korea's 4,900-ton landing ship Cheonjabong, which will depart a naval base in Busan, about 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on Aug. 16, 2023, to join part of the Pacific Partnership 2023, a U.S.-led multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise in the Indo-Pacific, which began on Aug. 9 and will run through Nov. 21.
