Cheong Wa Dae vice spokesperson promoted to spokesperson

SEOUL, April 1 (Yonhap) -- The vice spokesperson of Cheong Wa Dae, Jeon Eun-su, was promoted to serve as the spokesperson for President Lee Jae Myung, a senior aide said Wednesday.
Current spokesperson Kang Yu-jung will take on the role of chief spokesperson, according to Lee Kyu-yeon, the presidential secretary for public affairs and communications.
Jeon, 42, previously worked as an elementary school teacher and a lawyer, and joined the ruling Democratic Party in May 2024. She has been serving as a vice spokesperson since Lee took office in June last year.
