S. Korea says will work for prompt repatriation of 2 N. Koreans found adrift near border
SEOUL -- South Korea will work toward the prompt and safe repatriation of two North Koreans who were found adrift in waters south of the inter-Korean maritime border earlier this month, the unification ministry said Friday.
"(The government) will have consultations with related bodies for the North Korean residents' prompt and safe return," Kim In-ae, the ministry's deputy spokesperson, said in a regular press briefing.

Acting president says N. Korea is plotting 'new forms of provocations'
SEOUL -- Acting President Han Duck-soo accused the North Korean regime Friday of plotting "new forms of provocations" against the South while neglecting the plight of its citizens.
Han made the remark in a speech marking the 10th West Sea Defense Day at the national cemetery in Daejeon, about 140 kilometers south of Seoul, during a ceremony honoring the 55 sailors and Marines killed while defending the western sea border with the North.

Seoul's spy agency warns of possible terrorism during APEC summit, including N.K. hacking
SEOUL -- The National Intelligence Service (NIS) warned Thursday that South Korea could face terrorist attacks, including a potential hacking attempt from North Korea, during the country's hosting of a global summit later this year.
The NIS issued the warning in its report on terrorism as South Korea is scheduled to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Gyeongju, about 275 kilometers southeast of Seoul, from late October to early November.
