SEOUL, May 3 (Yonhap) --Ryu Hyun-jin (34, Toronto Blue Jays), Kim Kwang-hyun (33, St. Louis Cardinals), and Yang Hyun-jong (33, Texas Rangers), who are considered Korea's best left-handed pitchers in the 21st century, will start in turn in the Major League.

The three players, who competed in good faith in the KBO League, will start every other day.

The first runner is Kim Kwang-hyun. Kim will start the home game against the New York Mets at 8:45 a.m. on the 5th (KST. equal to or less) at Bush Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kim Kwang-hyun, who has one win and an ERA of 3.29 in three starts this season, will challenge for the second win of the season.

The Mets are considered one of the weakest teams, but the opponent's starting pitcher is Jacob DeGrom, who is considered the best right-handed pitcher in the league.

On the 6th, Yang Hyun-jong will start for the first time since his MLB debut.

Yang will play against the Minnesota Twins at 8:40 a.m. on Thursday at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As Kohei Arihara, a starting pitcher from Japan, received finger treatment, the Rangers put Yang Hyun-jong as an alternative.

He has pitched twice this season and has a 2.08 ERA without winning or losing.

As he has not yet secured a starting lot, there is a possibility that his position in the team will be adjusted depending on the outcome of the match.

Minnesota has yet to announce the starting pitcher for the game.

The Minnesota batters Yang Hyun-jong has to deal with are powerful. They ares ranked fourth among the 15 American League teams in this season with a 0.244 batting average.

The recent momentum is even scarier. Since the 29th of last month, they have scored 35 points in the last four games, showing off their strong performance.

They also won the Kansas City Royals 13-4 with 14 hits.

"Korean Monster" Ryu Hyun-jin is expected to return on the 7th.

Ryu Hyun-jin is likely to start the away game against the Oakland Athletics at 4:37 a.m. on the 7th at Oakland Stadium in California.

He came down the mound voluntarily after gluteal strain during an away game against the Tampa Bay Rays on the 26th of last month.

Since then, the Blue Jays have put Ryu on the 10-day injured list. Ryu Hyun-jin's IL registration was retroactive to April 27, and he can play on the 7th.

Toronto has yet to officially announce Ryu's return schedule. However, he is expected to take the mound against Oakland unless there is an unexpected change.

Ryu Hyun-jin has started five times this season and has one win, two losses, and an ERA of 2.60.
