Actress Uhm Hyun-kyung returns to MBC after three years with new drama

SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- Actress Uhm Hyun-kyung will return to the TV screens after three years with MBC TV's new daily drama "Second Husband."

According to MBC TV on the 6th, "Second Husband," scheduled to air in July, is a drama about a woman who lost her child and was falsely accused of murder due to the betrayal of her lover who promised to marry her.

Seo Hyun-joo, who wrote the dramas "The Dearest Lady" (2015), "Shining Romance" (2013), and "Angel's Choice" (2012), stars Han Ki-woong, Cha Seo-won and Seo Eun-woo in addition to Um Hyun-kyung.

Uhm Hyun-kyung plays the main character Bong Sun-hwa, Han Ki-woong plays Moon Sang-hyuk, who betrays his lover for ambition and chooses a daughter from a rich family, Cha Seo-won plays Yoon Jae-min, the son and elite of the confectionery company chairman, and Seo Eun-woo plays Yoon Jae-kyung, who wants to win the company over Jaemin.

"Second Husband" is a follow-up to the current daily drama "A Good Supper," which will premiere in early July.
