Journalist to be grilled over alleged false media interview

Shin Hak-lim, a former chairman of the progressive National Union of Media Workers, is approached by reporters as he appears at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office on Sept. 7, 2023, to be questioned in connection with his alleged false media interview in 2021 with Kim Man-bae, a key figure behind a corruption scandal connected to a highly lucrative land development project in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
