Exhibition on rare mother-of-pearl box

Employees show a mother-of-pearl box with a chrysanthemum vine pattern, believed to date back to the 13th century Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), during a media showcase at the National Palace Museum in Seoul on Sept. 6, 2023, to unveil the rare box showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the Goryeo era that the Cultural Heritage Administration said has been returned to South Korea from Japan.
