
Han Kang wins French award for foreign literature
South Korean author Han Kang (L), the winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize with "The Vegetarian," receives congratulations at Grasset, a leading French publishing house, in Paris on Nov. 9, 2023, after winning the Prix Medicis award for foreign literature with her 2021 novel "I Do Not Bid Farewell."
