N.K. ceremony to build 2026's 1st regional development factory

A groundbreaking ceremony takes place in Unnyul, South Hwanghae Province, western North Korea, on Jan. 29, 2026, with leader Kim Jong-un in attendance, to mark the start of construction of the year's first factory to be built under leader Kim's regional development policy, in this photo released by the North's official Korean Central News Agency the next day.
