Monument for Belgian Korean War dead
Seen here is a Korean War monument in the Belgian city of Beveren. The monument was newly unveiled on Oct. 29, 2023, after the names of three Belgian soldiers from the city who were killed in action during the 1950-53 conflict were engraved on it. Belgium and 15 other nations fought for South Korea under the U.N. flag against invading North Korea during the war. (Yonhap)
