Ferry passengers rescued off S. Korea's southwestern coast

Passengers arrive at a pier of the Coast Guard in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, southwestern South Korea, on Nov. 20, 2025, as they were rescued after their ferry, the Queen Jenuvia II, ran aground the previous day at the uninhabited islet of Jok near Jangsan Island off the coast of Sinan in the province. All 267 passengers and crew were safely rescued, with investigators giving weight to errors in navigation as a potential cause of the accident. (Yonhap)
