SEOUL, May 12 (Yonhap) -- Lee Jun-ho, a member of the K-pop
group 2PM and actor, is set to appear in the MBC TV drama, "The Red Sleeve
Cuff."
MBC TV said on the 12th, "Lee Jun-ho and Lee Se-young
have confirmed to take on the leading roles of the historical drama "The
Red Sleeve Cuff," which is scheduled to air in the second half of the
year."
"The Red Sleeve Cuff," which depicts a love story
between a court lady dreaming of a self-reliant life and a crown prince who
wants to be a great king, is a drama written collaboratively with writer Jung
Hae-ri, who wrote "The Imperial: Owner of the Mask" and producer Jung
Ji-in who directed "Radiant Office."
Lee Jun-ho will play Lee San, a perfectionist with a feisty
personality, and show him falling in love with a confident court lady he meets
while trying to become a good and wise king.
Lee Se-young plays Seong Deok-im, the court lady who wants to
live in freedom and not as one of the court ladies that are called the king's
women.
