SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- MBC TV's new drama "Here's My Plan," which tells the story of a 19-year-old girl who dreams of seeking revenge to those who have plunged her life into misery, started off with a 2% viewership.

According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company, on the 20th, the first episode of the drama, which aired at 9:20 p.m. the previous day, recorded 2.7 percent-2.8 percent.

The first episode showed 19-year-old Lee So-hyun (played by actress Kim Hwan-hee), who thought Lee Jae-young (played by actor Ryu Soo-young), the owner of a local chicken restaurant was her father who abandoned her and started to plan a revenge on him.

"Here's My Plan" is known to be actress Kim Hwan-hee's first drama to star in after turning 20. The actress previously gave a memorable performance in the movie "The Wailing" in 2016, and her appearance in "Here's My Plan" is known to have raised expectations amongst the audience.

Above all, Kim Hwan-hee's refreshing performance as Lee So-hyun, who is characterized as a high school dropout and living in a life full of misfortune, is currently perceived as outstanding.

In addition, veteran actors Ryu Soo-young and Lee Young-jin as well as rookie actor Kim Do-hoon supported the drama with stable acting skills.

However, it was similar to a one-act play because the drama is considered a short one with only four episodes compared to typical Korean dramas which contain at least 20 episodes. Regarding this opinion, there were mixed reviews from the public that it was fresh but was not interesting enough.
