'Sancheoneo' fishing festival

A boy fishes for "sancheoneo," a special kind of trout that lives in cold temperatures, at a fishing ground on the frozen Hwacheon Stream in the mountainous town of the same name in South Korea's northeast province of Gangwon on Jan. 8, 2023, as he takes part in the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival that opened the previous day and held for the first time in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
