Why is China stepping up its Korean War propaganda?

How can we avoid repeating history if we can’t agree on its basic facts in the first place? When it comes to the Korean War, which ravaged this peninsula from 1950 to 53, the past is still very much haunting the present. With South Korea being forced to correct China’s claim that the war was a fight against American “imperialist invaders,” North Korea appears to be aiming to advance ties with Beijing. And we might easily ask what’s going on here?
