SEOUL, April 26 (Yonhap) --Actress and model Byun Jung-soo said on her Instagram on the 26th, "The test for Covid19 on the 25th (Covid 19) confirmed positive," adding, "I have entered self-isolation according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities."
She explained that she was voluntarily tested after hearing that the person in charge of the partner company she met and ate with had been tested positive.
"Fortunately, my husband, family and the staff who contacted me have been tested negative, but we stopped all our schedules in case of any unexpected circumstances and gone into self-isolation," she added. "We will work hard to overcome the treatment and come back."
The entertainment industry is in a state of Covid-19 emergency again after broadcaster Kwon Hyuk-soo was confirmed positive on the 22nd, followed by musical actor Son Joon-ho and former professional golfer Pak Se-ri.
Meanwhile, the number of new confirmed cases reached 500 on the same day amid the continued spread of Covid-19.
