SEOUL, Aug. 31 (Yonhap) -- Actors Jung Woo, Park Hee-soon, and actresses Yoon Jin-seo, Park Ji-yeon have been cast as the main characters of a new Netflix original drama "Best Family (tentative title)."
The new drama will follow the story of a man on the verge of bankruptcy and divorce who finds a car with a large amount of money.
Jung Woo plays Dong-ha, an ordinary head of a household who gets entangled with a drug organization after discovering a huge amount of money. Park will play Gwang-cheol, the head of the drug organization that constantly pressures Dong-ha, while Yoon Jin-seo stars as Dong-ha's wife Eun-joo who hides the secrets and Park Ji-yeon acts as Ju-yeon, a leader of the drug investigation team who works with Dong-ha.
The producer for "Best Family" will be director Kim Jin-woo, who has previously directed dramas such as "Love Alarm," "Suits," and "Queen of Mystery," while H Production, which created KBS 2TV's "Homemade Love Story," "The Tale of Nokdu," and "Hakgyo 2017," will be in charge of production.
The release date is yet to be decided.
