SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- Group EXO’s leader Suho will return with a solo album with his own emotions.
Suho will drop a second mini-album “Grey Suit,” today at 6 p.m. through various music sites, according to SM Entertainment, Monday.
This album is the first new act in more than two years since "Self-Portrait," which was released as a solo in March 2020.
It is the first music activity of the singer after being discharged in February and completing his alternative service as a social service worker.
Suho directly participated in the concept planning and writing process of all songs and focused on revealing his own musical color.
The title track "Grey Suit," which is the same title as the album, is a song that compares blank grey time to emotions that gradually become more diverse to light and color after meeting someone.
Suho explained at an online interview, "There is a melody line that gradually rises to the climax in the chorus, and I took off my gray suit and expressed the feeling of becoming colorful from the ends of my hands and feet.”
In addition, a total of six songs, including the title song "Morning Star," which has an impressive intro that seems to express a long dream, and "Hurdle," which tactfully expresses the desire to run to a loved one, were included in the album.
