SEOUL, Nov. 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer Kim Jong-kook, famously known for his muscular physique, announced to take a "doping test" to resolve allegations of using hormone enhancing drugs to build his muscles.

On Oct. 31, Greg Doucette, a Canadian bodybuilder and fitness YouTuber, uploaded a video titled "Kim Jong Kook - Natty or Not" on his YouTube channel. In the video, Doucette speculated whether Kim's hormone levels were enhanced and said Kim might be on HRT(hormone replacement therapy).

"(Kim Jong-kook) keeps getting better with age," Doucette said, claiming that it is impossible for someone to be in better shape without administering drugs.

In response to the allegations, Kim came on to his YouTube channel "GYM JONG KOOK" on Nov. 9 and stated that he would actively resolve the speculations, saying, "We will conduct 391 doping tests based on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)."

"I would still be shuddering even if hormone enhancing drugs were legal," Kim said two days ago. "The reason I started my (YouTube) channel with this body was to share my fitness life in a sincere and healthy way."
