SEOUL, Mar. 14 (Yonhap) -- Actors Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye are to work together in JTBC's new romantic comedy drama "Doctor Slump."

JTBC has announced on Tuesday that it will start filming after casting Park Hyung-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Bak, and Kong Seong-ha in "Doctor Slump."

"Doctor Slump" is a romantic comedy about plastic surgeon Yeo Jang-woo (Park Hyung-sik) and anesthesiologist Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye), who had a proper brake on their lives while drawing an upward curve struggling.

Yeo Jeong-woo, played by Park Hyung-sik, passed his school days as the top student in the school, went to the best medical school in Korea, and became a "star doctor" with both skills and personality, but was pushed to the edge off due to a mysterious medical accident.

Park Shin-hye, who returns for shooting for the first time after marriage and childbirth, plays Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist with burnout syndrome. Nam Ha-neul is a person who studied really hard during her school days and became obsessed with her work after she becomes a doctor, and she resolves change by looking back on her life that has suddenly been ruined.

Yoon Bak and Kong Seong-ha appear as surrounding figures around Yeo Jeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul.

Yoon Park plays the role of Bin Dae-young, a plastic surgeon who had a sense of rivalry alone with Yeo Jeong-woo, and Lee Hong-ran, an anesthesiologist who has been a close friend of Nam Ha-neul, since college is played by Kong Seong-ha.

The production team said, "It is a happy revival for those who shared the most brilliant and shabby times," adding, "We will convey the process of Yeo Jang-woo and Nam Ha-neul becoming each other's light in the darkest period of their lives with laughter, excitement, and warm comfort."
