SEOUL, Aug. 26 (Yonhap) -- "We always gain a lot of energy from our fans, Zeroses, and this time, we hope that by watching us, they can let go of their worries and stress," said Kim Tae-rae.

K-pop boy group Zerobaseone has returned with their mini album "CINEMA PARADISE," filled with positive energy. During the showcase held on the 26th at Blue Square in Yongsan, Seoul, the members shared, "We wanted to convey the message that no matter how difficult the situation, it ultimately leads to a happy ending, and we did so with our unique refreshing energy."

"CINEMA PARADISE" is the group's new release, coming just three months after "You had me at HELLO" in May. The album offers a message of encouragement to those who dream of a happy ending despite facing negative situations in life. It includes seven tracks, such as the title track "GOOD SO BAD," an electronic synth-pop song, "KILL THE ROMEO," and a remake of the hit song "Ocean" by the co-ed group UP.

"GOOD SO BAD" expresses feelings for a special person who remains a constant in one's universe despite the fast-changing world. The choreography, which mimics floating in space, candidly expresses the deep emotions of falling in love. Zhang Hao explained, "The song captures the bittersweet feeling of love that's so precious you're afraid of losing it," describing the album as "our super-positive romantic comedy that creates a happy ending even if the movie ends on a sad note."

In the music video for the title track, the members parody iconic scenes from films like "Temptation of Wolves" and "Love Actually," portraying characters trying to turn the movie into a happy ending. Actor Yoo Ji-tae appears as a writer determined to end the story on a sad note, creating a conflict with the members. Seok Matthew shared a funny behind-the-scenes moment, saying, "There was a scene where we were supposed to walk away, but Gunwook looked at me and said I looked cool, which made me laugh so much that I couldn’t act properly."

Celebrating their first anniversary last month, Zerobaseone has been growing steadily, driven by positive energy despite their busy schedules. Their recent albums have all achieved "million-seller" status on the day of release, and they've won 16 awards at various music ceremonies, including rookie of the year.

Zhang Hao noted, "The members are all kind, and as we got to know each other better, our bond grew stronger. When I watch our performances, I can't help but think, 'We really work well together.'"

The members also reflected on how they grew while recording this album, thanks to advice from renowned composer KENZIE. Sung Hanbin shared, "The advice we received was so meaningful that I wrote it down and stuck it on my desk. It really helped me get through the recording process without feeling overwhelmed."

In September, Zerobaseone will kick off their first world tour, "TIMELESS WORLD," starting in Seoul and spanning eight regions worldwide. The members hinted that they will reimagine their previous performances for this tour. Park Gunwook expressed his excitement, saying, "We're all thrilled about the overseas tour. Even after our schedules, we stay late to practice. We're preparing stages and performances that our fans haven't seen before, so they can be fully satisfied."

The members also vowed to continue writing their movie-like story. "Over the past year, we've been fortunate to receive immense love from Zeroses and the public. With a commitment to never losing our initial determination, we are striving to show our growth every time," said Park Gunwook.
